In addition to Allied Membership, AIA Central Valley also offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities. Our Chapter represents professionals and practices from all aspects of the architectural industry in our region. Every month, we offer professional development and networking opportunities, as well as larger events such as Experience Architecture, Design Awards and joint programs with allied associations and community organizations. Design Awards
Our biennial awards program promotes the profession of architecture by recognizing excellence in design, thereby activating public interest in design and the value of architectural service to the built environment. Design Award winners are announced at a special Gala and are featured in Comstock’s Magazine.  Our next Design Award will be held in 2019. Experience Architecture
This annual public-outreach event is designed to facilitate greater transparency with the public in how architects create our built environment and how it impacts their daily lives; to create an ongoing dialogue to inform a distinct, regional, architectural identity; and to highlight existing relationships between the region and its architecture.  The 2018 Experience Architecture will take place in October.

Experience Architecture is developed and led by AIA architects and associate members in collaboration with our allied members,  corporate partners and various community organizations.
