Design Awards
Our biennial awards program promotes the profession of architecture by recognizing excellence in design, thereby activating public interest in design and the value of architectural service to the built environment. Design Award winners are announced at a special Gala and are featured in Comstock’s Magazine. Design Award 2017 is still in the planning phase. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, please email for more information.

Experience Architecture
This annual public-outreach event is designed to facilitate greater transparency with the public in how architects create our built environment and how it impacts their daily lives; to create an ongoing dialogue to inform a distinct, regional, architectural identity; and to highlight existing relationships between the region and its architecture.  The 2017 Experience Architecture took place September 20-24.

Experience Architecture is developed and led by AIA architects and associate members in collaboration with our allied members,  corporate partners and various community organizations.

This year’s festival featured eight events, and celebrated our 75th Anniversary as a Chapter along with Design Awards. Click here for the 2017 Experience Architecture Guide.

Golf & Tennis Tournament
These two fundraising events bring architects and building industry professionals together for a day of fun and networking. Tennis is held in the spring, and golf in the summer.
