AAH/EP AXP Tour: UC Davis Health Folsom

The project is an approximately 110,000 square foot medical office building on University-owned land in Folsom, California as the first phase of the planned Folsom Center for Health. This project enables UC Davis Health to continue to provide high-quality care and expand services in the city of Folsom by (1) providing a new outpatient facility for programs currently housed in leased facilities; (2) providing additional space for clinical expansion to accommodate existing demand and expected growth; (3) enabling UC Davis Health to remain competitive in an area where competitors continue to expand their presence; and (4) enhancing patient experience by expanding outpatient care and access into the community.

The Folsom MOB is a state-of-the-art medical office building that will include 115 patient examination rooms; a buildout of ancillary services to include Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology, Ophthalmology, and General Support Services for the entire building; construction of specialty clinics and infusion services with a compounding pharmacy; and site development to include approximately 525 parking spaces, landscape, hardscape, utilities, and pathways to and around the building.

Please note this tour is on an active construction site; proper PPE is required.

Safety Note: This is an active construction site. Attendees will be required to wear standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including a hard hat, protective eyewear, long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and safety vests. No exceptions will be allowed. If you need to borrow a hard hat, protective eyewear, or a safety vest, please let us know; we have a limited number that may be borrowed.

IMPORTANT: This tour is arranged by AIACV’s Academy of Archiecture for Health (AAH) and AIACV’s Emerging Professionals. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The tour is FREE but is limited to 20 members (10 Assoc. AIA + 10 AIA members.)
