CBSC 2022 Code Changes

Join us as HCAI presents a high-level look at what is being changed in the 2022 California Building Code Parts. This session will cover the Administrative Code revisions as well as the highlights from the Building Code.

1) Learn what has changed in the Administrative Code for healthcare projects.

2) Learn what has changed in the Building Code for healthcare projects.

3) Become familiar with the new requirements for Procedure Rooms

4) Know what Class 1, 2 and 3 Imaging Room are and how to distinguish the requirements for each.

Presenter: Richard Tannahill, Deputy Division Chief, HCAI

A licensed architect since 1995, Richard Tannahill has over 30 years of architectural experience (25 years is in healthcare) specializing in project management, building code and construction administration. Richard is a past board member of the Hospital Building Safety Board and continues to be an active staff participant. He has been with HCAI since April 2015.
