Home General 14th Annual Codes Conversation

14th Annual Codes Conversation

The idea of the Codes Conversation program is simple: bring together Code Officials with Design Professionals once a year to discuss how we can work together more efficiently in the arena of codes and permits.

This year’s panel will continue our series of informal and lively programs of the past, with very brief presentations by panelists (‘NO POWERPOINT’) followed by open dialogue.  Bring your conundrums, ideas and suggestions; meet your local officials; and explore the collaborative shaping of great places for people from the perspective of BOTH sides of the counter.  Get insight into new code development and interpretations, similarities and differences between local jurisdictions; net zero energy; new developments in accessibility, and more.

Moderated by Michael F. Malinowski, FAIA, Applied Architecture

Greg Anderson, Chief Building Official, City of Citrus Heights

Joe Cuffe, Chief Building Official, City of  Rancho Cordova

Winfred DeLeon, Chief Building Official, City of Sacramento

Randy Goodwin, AIA, Chief Building Official, City of West Sacramento

Greg Mahoney, Chief Building Official, City of Davis

Nancy Springer, Chief Building Official, County of Sacramento
