Home Architecture Architecture: Inside Out (Architecture Matters Design Forum)

Architecture: Inside Out (Architecture Matters Design Forum)

Join hosts Saxon Sigerson, AIA, Kris Barkley, AIA, and Arturo Levenfeld, AIA, for an evening of discussion centered around the role of interior design and building function as a definer of exterior form and shape.

The wonderful thing about buildings is that they have both an interior and exterior. Our evening dialogue will explore this duality. Does the outside of the building tell the story of the buildings purpose? How does the inside fit the outside? Did the architect initiate the design from the interior or the exterior? How does one address the design process of bringing the exterior form into a compatible dialogue with the interior or does that relationship need to be compatible?

We will have a presentation followed by an open discussion led by Saxon Sigerson, AIA.
