Community engagement creates opportunities for individuals to play a meaningful role in discussions and decision-making. Engagement also brings members of the design community, with their unique perspectives and skill-sets, to local networks and partnerships where they become valuable team members working toward creating successful solutions to community challenges.
Plan to be inspired to take your own “seat at the table” from our panel of amazing local emerging professionals who are engaged in their communities on a variety of issues including: mentorship, planning and urban development, the environment, disaster support and resilience, community art and activation and equity + diversity.
Panelists will share why they engage, how it has inspired and developed them personally—and how it has impacted their community in a positive way.
