The AIACV Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) is pleased to host a session focusing on imaging modalities. Covered topics will include:
• Imaging Modalities – including modalities that use ionizing radiation
• Facts & design implications for Interventional Radiology
• Hybrid Operating Rooms – descriptions of various hybrid OR modalities
• Explanation of how Nuclear Medicine scans differ from Radiology scans
About the Presenter:
Liz Brott, AIA, EDAC is a Principal Architect for Sutter Health based in the San Francisco Bay Area and a licensed architect in the State of California.
Liz has nearly 30 years’ experience in healthcare design, planning and operations, both as an owner and as a licensed architect. Her experience both as a client and as a consultant allows her to bring a unique and balanced perspective to strategic and facility planning projects. She is particularly appreciated for her ability to interface among strategic, capital, clinical, and facilities planning–helping clients turn data into decisions in complex development projects. She has presented at numerous national and regional conferences on a wide variety of topics related to healthcare.
