Join hosts Mark Roddy, FAIA, Elizabeth Hawks McBride, AIA, Sugra Panvelwala, AIA, Saxon Sigerson, AIA, and Kris Barkley, AIA for another edition of Architecture Matters. Our evening of discussion will be centered around the concept of Nature’s Edge in design.
Understanding the context and relationship with the outdoors is a question all architectural projects deal with. Whether it be about direct access to nature, a more indirect visual connection, or being inspired by forms and processes that define the natural realm, the edge between built form and nature is multifaceted.
What constitutes a successful symbiotic relationship between Architecture and nature? What design lessons does the outdoor context hold? We will explore these questions and more in our next Architecture Matters. We will have a short presentation followed by an open discussion led by Mark Roddy, FAIA.
