Katherine Johnson Middle School proudly unveils its new campus, an expansive 60,000 square feet nestled on a beautiful 10-acre site. This state-of-the-art facility includes administrative offices, modern classrooms, a dedicated STEAM lab, a media studio, a versatile multipurpose room, and spacious playfields. Adorned with inspiring space-themed murals, the campus features a quad designed to reflect the orbits of our solar system, paying homage to the legacy of Katherine Johnson, the brilliant mathematician who was instrumental in the early space missions of the United States. This new facility represents a significant new chapter for both students and staff of Katherine Johnson Middle School. Since its inception, the school has coexisted with Encina High School on the same campus, and now it embarks on a new journey. Set to open its doors on January 7th, the campus will serve as a launching point for young minds aspiring to become the next generation of mathematicians, engineers, and astronauts.
