Paul’s Place, a project designed by Maria Ogrydziak, AIA for Davis Community Meals and Housing (DCMH), is a beautiful, new, multi-functional, four-story building designed to serve the most vulnerable individuals living homeless in Davis by providing housing and wraparound services.
Paul’s Place is an innovative, one-of-a-kind structure that includes key support services on each level, to serve individuals at all levels of need–from crisis to transition to permanent supportive housing.
This event provides a unique opportunity to see the entire facility before it is occupied, and to learn about the vision and collaboration behind its design–in which the architect, along with elected officials, business executives, nonprofit leaders, the faith community, service providers and members of the community, took action and together built housing for the chronically homeless.
