The purpose of this project is to remove the general acute care services from 2 SPC 1 hospital buildings that will not be in compliance with the structural provisions of the Alquist Hospital Facilities Seismic Safety Act. The acute care services will be relocated into a new hospital wing. The north wing will be demolished and the west wing will be separated from the adjacent east wing by an SPC separation and used as administrative space.
