Tour d’ Architecture Bike Tour
INFO: Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
WHERE: PLEASE NOTE… We’ll meet at the Jury Lot – 8th & G Streets, then we’ll head west on G to 6th to our first stop at Tani Cantil-Sakauye Sacramento County Courthouse at the NW corner of H and 6th Streets.
OVERVIEW: Hop on your bike for our annual 8-10 mile loop through downtown Sacramento that includes secret tours and an insider view of some exciting new projects. In fact, we’ll start with a first-look tour of the not-yet-complete superior court building named for former Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye, located on a 2.4 acre site – formerly part of the railyards. We will make about a dozen stops to visit a range of new projects with commentary from the design architects and other team members. Slated projects include: West Sac’s Washington Commons and Bridge District, some great new midtown residential projects, and, of course, the new Sacramento County Courthouse.
Join us for a lively and enjoyable ride to visit Sacramento’s newest and most innovative building projects!
A signed liability form is required to participate. Please come prepared with your bicycle helmet, water, and sunscreen.
