The Chapter’s Board of Directors and staff are thinking of all our members, firms, Allied members and Sustaining Partners as we face personal and professional disruption caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Rest assured, we are addressing all aspects of our Chapter’s operation to best serve you. Here are a few of the changes we have made as of today: March 18, 2020.
The Chapter office is closed, but our staff continue to be available virtually to you while working from home. Try our e-mail first: Kim Anderson: [email protected] or Tinn Lee: [email protected]
We will not be holding any face-to-face meetings for our Committees, Board, Events or outside groups. Depending on the activity, some have been postponed, and some will take place virtually. Our NOTES newsletter and Chapter website will have the latest details, and we will also be notifying members through our registration site, as applicable.
AIA intends to extend the deadline for membership dues renewal from March 31st to April 28th. Watch for more information, directly from AIA National, soon.
AIACV remains committed to providing members with responsive programming and services. To that end, Chapter President Christopher Holt and I are hosting an AIACV Coronavirus Forum this Friday March 20th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
We want to hear from you – your concerns, your challenges and your ideas about what AIA can do for you. Your feedback will help frame a statewide AIA California virtual panel discussion at the end of March, and also help us understand your most pressing needs in relation to our local Chapter.

Also, we invite you to check out this helpful (and growing) list of resources from AIA CA https://aiacalifornia.org/covid-19-resources/
Like you, AIACV is re-evaluating day-by-day, week-by-week and will stay connected as things evolve. In the meantime, stay well and take care.
