Description: On July 1, 2019, OSHPD released their newest electronic plan review program. This program dramatically improves the plan review process and user experience and has allowed OSHPD to offer numerous improvements over the previous program. This presentation will cover all of the enhancements now available to designers; provide detailed instructions on how to streamline the submittal and review process; demonstrate how to leverage the PDF Scout analysis program and properly upload documents to avoid processing delays; and provide insights into ensuring a successful project. There will also be a question and answer session.

- Recognize the best practices for document preparation and submittal
- Understand how Scout PDF Analysis works and how to insure documents will in-process successfully
- Identify system enhancements and process improvements that can be incorporated into your projects
- Understand ways to collaborate with reviewers during the review process
Presenter: Gary Dunger is the OSHPD Business Process Manager and Program Manager for the Electronic Services Portal at OSHPD Facilities Development Division. The eServices Portal is OSHPD’s web-based project tracking and plan submittal program that allows facility owners and design professionals to submit project applications and construction documents online for electronic document review. Formerly the OSHPD Chief Fire & Life Safety Office and Regional Compliance Officer, Gary has been involved with health facilities construction for 30 years.
