Volunteer to Staff the AIACV Table at the Redding / Carr Fire Disaster Recovery Center (DRC)

Chapter President Brian Sehnert, AIA and Executive Director Kimberly Anderson traveled to Redding Tuesday, August 14th to set up an information table to provide access to materials and resources (such as the AIACC public-facing website,ArchitectsHelp.org)for those effected by the CARR Fire. The AIACV table is adjacent to, and in collaboration with, the Shasta Builder’s Exchange. Our sincere thanks to the Exchange’s Executive Director Joe Chimenti for his support and kindness during our visit.

Please consider volunteering to staff the table.Sign up using this link for available dates and times: https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/2391313/true#/invitation

Donations are also needed and appreciated. As of yesterday the following (new/unused) items are in need: sheets, paper towels, conditioner, pillows, diapers, bath towels, toilet paper and deodorant. The AIACV is happy to accept donations from members and coordinate delivery to Redding at the Chapter office. Please e-mail [email protected] if we can help.
